Business Stimulus Seminar Tour by Tony Rubleski

Wednesday, October 7
9 am to 11:30 am
Bay Harbor Resort & Marina Conference Center
$35/members; $50/non-members
Having worked with hundreds of chambers of commerce across the country the last several years, bestselling author and marketing expert, Tony Rubleski, believes his message is drawing even greater interest from chambers than in the past for one central reason: the economy. "Now, more than ever, it's crucial for businesses and non-profits to have the resources they need to market and get ahead" stated Rubleski.
Several chambers of commerce in northern Michigan agree with that message and are working together to bring Rubleski back to the region to offer marketing strategies for businesses in the region. His seminar, "Quit Whining and Start Selling" will be presented on Wednesday, October 7th at the Bay Harbor Resort and Marina Conference Center in the Village of Bay Harbor near Petoskey. The program will begin at 9 am and should adjourn by 11:30 am.
The Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce is proud to be among the sponsoring chambers. They are joining chambers of commerce from Boyne City, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, East Jordan, Elk Rapids, Harbor Springs, Traverse City and St Ignace to co-host this event. Businesses and organizations who are members of those participating chambers will pay only $35 per person, otherwise the cost to attend is $50 per person.
Earlier this year, Rubleski visited 30 cities around the country in an event dubbed as the "Business Stimulus Seminar Tour". He says this event in northern Michigan will be an extension of that tour and will continue to show businesses powerful ways that they can have an impact on their bottom-line, even in a tough economy.
Rubleski's tour has been connected primarily with chambers of commerce around the country. He goes out of his way to applaud the work chambers are doing and says these business organizations are needed now more than ever. "Chambers are the glue of the community, and their members are begging for good, solid marketing and sales strategies they can quickly use in this current recession. This program delivers it," Rubleski said.
Rubleski says his custom program for northern Michigan is based on his second 'Mind Capture' book, which hit #1 in three different categories with Amazon.com. Chamber members who attend will discover:
- How to generate more referrals and repeat business
- The concert of 'Mind Capture' and how top marketers use it to get the edge
- Secrets to capturing the attention of the 21st Century Customer
- Proven ways to grow your business even during the slow economy
- The power of content and ways to improve your online marketing
Registration for the event will be coordinated by the Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce. To register, call (231) 347-4150 or send payment to the Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce, 401 E Mitchell St, Petoskey, MI 49770. The registration and payment deadline is October 5.
Rubleski is currently the president of Mind Capture Group out of Spring Lake, Michigan. His work and writings have been featured in numerous publications and media outlets ranging from FOX TV, CNN radio, ABC TV, the Detroit Free Press, to Entrepreneur radio and most recently in the March issue of NWA in-flight magazine, World Traveler. He has presented hundreds of programs to many of the biggest chambers and associations in the country. In addition, this Gen X'er is also on faculty with the US Chamber Institute (IOM) program where he teaches in the target areas of marketing and technology for chamber executives.
