Networking Bootcamp

The Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce presents “Networking Boot Camp” a two session seminar that will help you learn fun and practical tips to improve your Networking
skill and grow your business!

Networking is a Learned Skill based on personal values and attitudes about our view of the world! It can turn strangers or acquaintances into friends and build a network of people who will take our calls, give us their valuable time and answer our questions.

Networking Boot Camp includes two sessions held at Stafford’s
Bay View Inn, Thursday November 20 from 2-5 p.m.
and Wednesday, December 3, from 1-3:30 p.m.

The first session on Thurs., November 20 will cover:

Networking versus Quality Networking
Benefits of Networking; it should be fun!
The basics
Fear Factors
Your 10 second intro
The Approach & conversation openers
Practice
The graceful exit

***plus this session will include admission to Business After Hours from 5-7p.m. at Stafford’s Perry Hotel so you can start to practice what you learned today!

The second session on Wed., December 3 will cover:

Review: what worked?
Make a plan
Follow-up: now that you’ve met these people, what do you do?
Confidence building
Becoming a Resource
Keeping in touch: Center of Influence
