Community Cash Program Launched

First Community Bank has partnered with the chamber as a sponsor of this program which is managed locally by the chamber. COMMUNITY CA$H is sold exclusively at the PRCC office and can be redemed at chamber-member businesses throughout Petoskey. The checks are available in denominations of $5, $10, $20, and $25. Special denominations can be custom-made upon request, with advance notice. As a chamber-member, when a COMMUNITY CA$H Check is brought into your business, please accept it. Provide the appropriate change to the customer, and simply deposit it like you would any other check. The COMMUNITY CA$H checks have the appropriate bank routing codes and will go through the banking system like any other check. There will be no fees to chamber members who accept the checks, and no waiting period for reimbursement. Please show your staff what they look like and provide instructions to them on how to accept them.
