Harbor Springs Farmers Market

Harbor Springs offers their Harbor Springs Farmers Market on Saturdays from 9am to 1pm at 157 State St. in Downtown Harbor Springs. The market has about a dozen vendors who offer everything from eggs to greens, meats to pastas and more.

"Hooray for Hollywood"

Location: Harbor Springs Performing Arts Center - Harbor Springs High School
Rehearsals for the spring musicals at the Harbor Springs High School are in full swing and this year they are presenting "Hooray for Hollywood". The show is a review of music from the movies, including some of the classics as well as currant films. There are numbers spanning 70 years of movie production. The earliest selection is from Hotel Hollywood produced in 1937 all the way through the years to "Lion King", "Hairspray", and "Footloose".
This year the cast of about 40 includes kids from the elementary school to fill the roles of children in "Mary Poppins" and the "Sound of Music", as well as a few surprises. The performance dates are March 23, 24, at 7:30 pm. and the 25th at 3:00 pm.. The production will be in the Performing Arts Center at Harbor Springs High School. Tickets are $10.00 for adults and $7.00 for students.
