Harbor Springs offers their Harbor Springs Farmers Market on Saturdays from 9am to 1pm at 157 State St. in Downtown Harbor Springs. The market has about a dozen vendors who offer everything from eggs to greens, meats to pastas and more.

BUSINESS AFTER HOURS EXPO THURS. APRIL 19 AT OVATION HALL OF ODAWA CASINO
The biggest Petoskey Business After Hours Networking event of the year takes place Thursday, April 19, in Ovation Hall of Odawa Casino, from 5-8 p.m. This year’s SOLD-OUT Business Expo, hosted by the Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce, features 65 total exhibitors, including eight restaurants offering a “Taste of Petoskey.”  
 
This event includes exhibits from area businesses and organizations, networking, appetizers, opportunities to sample a taste from member restaurants, and many chances to win door prizes.  Admission price is $7 for Chamber members and $12 for not-yet Chamber members. A cash bar will be available.
Odawa Casino is the host and the TV Sponsor is 9&10 News/Fox 32.

Water Safety Class

Heading into the summer months, the Charlevoix Area Community Pool is offering a water safety class designed for families and individuals to learn how they can be safe in and around the water while enjoying all it has to offer. The instructor for the class is Dr. David Smith, retired Coast Guard Commander. Attached is the press release for the classes that will take place on Thursday, April 19th from 6-8pm and again on Saturday, April 21st from 4-6pm. Course content will include boating safety information and skills as well as personal water safety as it relates to activities in and around pools and lakes. During the class individuals are encouraged to participate in real-life simulations that will teach them how to be safe as well as how to respond to life threatening situations.
