Annual Bay Harbor Home Tour

Get your dog(s) vaccinated for rabies, licenses

Get your dog(s) vaccinated for rabies, licensed with Emmet County for one year and micro-chipped on Saturday, September 15, 2012.

The rabies, Emmet County license and micro-chip clinic will take place from 8 a.m. to noon at the Pellston Animal Clinic. Ten appointments will be available per hour and will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

The cost to participate is $30. Registration and payment are required prior to the clinic and must be completed at Little Traverse Bay Humane Society, located at 1300 West Conway Road in Harbor Springs. Only cash and credit cards will be accepted. This clinic is only offered to residents of Emmet County.

The administration of a micro chip is required with this clinic. If your dog has already been micro chipped and you bring proof, he/she can still get the rabies vaccine and county license. The fee is still $30.

If your dog has already received a rabies vaccine but it has expired, you must bring proof of vaccination from a veterinarian’s office in order to receive a three-year rabies vaccination. If there is no written proof, your dog will receive a one-year vaccination.

Owners will receive dog licenses and rabies tags the day of the event.

Cycling Classic
