Between October 1, 2007 and October 31, 2008, the Healthy Economy Action Team (HEAT) hopes to re-capture $1 million that is currently leaving the Petoskey area. They are inviting area businesses to be a part of this community-wide economic development initiative known as the Million Dollar Shuffle..
You are challenged to examine the expenditures of your business and see if any of those expenditures with vendors outside of the area could be made locally. If so, then shuffle the money back to the region.
